Caring CEO Jeff Salter will Present at National Homecare and Hospice Annual Conference

SAN ANTONIO – Jeff Salter, founder and CEO of Caring Senior Service, is one of the presenters at this year’s National Association for Home Care (NAHC) conference and expo, Oct. 2-9, 2010 in Dallas.

Salter, a recognized expert in the elder care industry, presents a program titled “Three Options For Adding Private Pay: On Your Own, With A Consultant, Or Buying A Franchise”. The educational session is a for-credit offering for NAHC members, which will address the pros and cons of the three ways a home health or hospice company can add a private-pay, non-medical component to its business.

As home health and hospice companies pursue private-pay services, they must weigh each option as to ensure maximum return – in terms of time and funding. Since founding Caring Senior Service in 1991, Salter has navigated most of the traps and triumphs of the industry. During his presentation, he will teach the importance of internal check-off lists, and whether separate branding of the non-medical agency would be beneficial.
